Embie alternative: moving your IVF schedule to COVE

Embie closed in September 2025. Compare COVE, Berry and IVFfolio, and rebuild a verified schedule from records you still have.

Updated 12 October 2026 · COVE editorial team.

Embie announced that its consumer app would close on 30 September 2025. Its stated export deadline has passed; do not assume the old app can still retrieve your records. See Embie's official closure announcement.

No option is ranked for pregnancy outcomes. COVE does not replace Embie's community or recover data from an account that has closed.

Rebuild from records you already have

  1. Find your latest clinic-issued protocol, saved export, PDFs and appointment messages. If essential records are missing, request them from the clinic.
  2. Create the current cycle and enter only the plan your clinic has confirmed. A saved export is a reference, not a guaranteed automatic import.
  3. If you use COVE's protocol capture, review every medication, dose, unit, date and time against the original before saving. See the walkthrough.
  4. Add previous doses and sites only where you have a reliable record; leave uncertain history marked as uncertain.
  5. Test notification permissions and keep an independent backup for a time-critical dose. Disable detailed notification text if you want medication names hidden.

Limits, price and privacy

COVE is available on iPhone and Android. Features can differ by platform and version; check your store listing before subscribing.

COVE is a tracker, not a clinical adviser. Features vary by version. Check the actual purchase screen for local price, trial eligibility and renewal terms. Data uses encrypted cloud storage; there are no in-app ads, while AppsFlyer measures campaign attribution. Read the privacy policy before moving sensitive records.

Can I import an Embie backup automatically?

This guide does not promise a direct Embie import. Keep the original export and verify any information you enter. If you cannot access old Embie data, COVE cannot retrieve it for you.

Will my past cycles and reminders carry over?

Do not assume they will. Recreate the current plan first, check the saved times and notification settings on your own phone, and then add historical records you want to retain.
